Guilherme Anjos Meireles

The Rice Boys Soccer Program is thrilled to have Coach Gui join the coaching staff as the 2025 JV Head Coach.  Coach Gui is a dynamic and dedicated soccer coach who places a strong emphasis on leadership, player development, and team cohesion.   Coach Gui believes in leading by example by training alongside his players, staying fully engaged, and fostering a culture of trust and accountability. His philosophy centers on empowering athletes to believe in the process and in themselves. Coach Gui holds a B License from the Brazilian Soccer Federation and a USSF Grassroots License. 

Originally from Brazil, Gui began playing at a very young age.  His talents as a player resulted in him becoming a member of the soccer club, Caldense at age 14.  Caldense is a professional club that competes in Brazil’s 4^th division.  The following year he was transferred to Goiás, a 2^nd division club where he played for two years.   Gui then attended Universidade Paulista (Paulista University) in Brazil, where he secured a degree in Advertising & Marketing.  He relocated to the United States in 2017.  He currently is a Senior Campaign Coordinator for Dealer.com.
