Graduation Events:

Baccalaureate Mass 
Thursday, June 4th at 5:00 pm at Rice 
Graduates to meet in the main lobby at 4:30pm, you are to wear your gown for mass, NO caps! Tickets are not required, all are welcome to join us for Mass.

Senior Reception & Award Ceremony 
Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 pm at Rice
Join us for a short reception for students and families in between Mass and the award ceremony. This ceremony is to celebrate senior class achievements and recognitions, academic and athletic awards. 

Graduation Rehearsal (mandatory for graduates)
Friday, June 5th at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

• Graduates to meet in the main lobby no later than 9:30 am
• Show pride in your future plans by wearing your college gear or something representing your plans, ie: college, military branch, or trade
• Seniors must attend the entire practice in order to participate in graduation. Please plan for the full 3 hours, knowing that if everyone arrives on time for a prompt start and we have everyone’s complete attention during this time, it is possible to be done in 2 hours. 
• Class President, Student Council President, Valedictorian and Salutatorian are required to stay after rehearsal to practice your speech in the actual space. 

Graduation 
Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 am (Doors open at 10:00 am)

• Graduates report directly to the main lobby no later than 10:00 am. Please do not mingle in the gym
• Each Senior will receive a total of eight (8) tickets. All guests must have a ticket.  
• The ceremony will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend
• Parents, please help us by ensuring that only honor cords and stoles distributed by Rice are worn during the ceremony.

Special Traditions:

Grad Wall & Senior Lawn Sign Photos- deadline: 4/27

• Our Grad wall is a special display of our seniors' photos displayed outside the cafeteria in May. Upload a photo of your choice and we'll take care of the printing. Thank you to Lesha Gates who is coordinating the display.
• We also display lawn signs honoring our seniors outside our school in advance of graduation. We send the lawn signs home to your graduate on 5/29! There is no cost to you.  You also have the choice of a general “Congratulations” sign.
• Use this google form to upload pictures for these displays or let us know if you'd prefer the yearbook photo be used.

Graduation Slideshow - deadline: 5/1
Mr. Matarazzo will be creating the senior slideshow for graduation which is a very special part of our ceremony and we'd like all of our graduates represented. This slideshow will be played on large screens as our seniors prepare to process into the gym for graduation. In order to represent all of our graduates and allow sufficient time for this to be completed, please use this form to send in one Baby/Toddler photo of your senior by May 1st. The ideal photo focuses on your child (i.e., requires little cropping) and captures your child's personality. The senior photo you submitted for the yearbook will also be used; if you’d prefer a different photo, you can send that in as well.
