Friday, 11/6 or Friday, 2/5, 9am-11:15am
Prospective students in 8th grade are invited to spend a half-day on campus and step into the life of a Rice student. You'll attend short classes, meet our teachers, connect with current Rice students, and get to know other prospective students who are considering joining the Rice community. Rather than being paired with an individual student ambassador, visitors will spend the day with a small group of prospective students, giving them plenty of opportunities to ask questions, explore campus, and experience the energy of Rice firsthand.

Wednesday, 11/11 5:30-7pm at Burlington Beer Co.
Sometimes it’s easier to talk parent-to-parent. We invite parents of prospective students to come meet some of our current Rice families, ask them questions, and get candid answers about their experiences. They've all made the decision to send their student(s) to Rice and they’ll tell you honestly why they made that choice, what they weighed, and what their students have experienced. Many of them had the same questions you do, and they will give you straight answers in a no-pressure setting. A cash bar and appetizers will be provided.
