Winter Post-Season Awards

The Rice Winter Athletic teams all had successful seasons. Our Girls' Indoor Track team took home a state championship, while our boys’ basketball and hockey teams both earned runner-up for division one. Several athletes earned individual honors in their respective sports. We want to take a moment to celebrate these individual accomplishments. Congratulations to all of our athletes on a successful Winter season.

 

Alpine Ski

Tela Haskell- NVAC All-Star, All-State Ski Team

Taylor Moulton- NVAC All-Star

 

Boys’ Basketball:

Drew Bessette- Metro Division Player of the Year, First Team All-Metro, VBCA Dream Dozen

Adam Bilodeau- Metro Division First Team, Senior All-Star Game Selection

Owen Eaton- Metro Division Honorable Mention, VBCA Dream Dozen

 

Boys’ Ice Hockey:

Jack Strong- Metro Division Player of the Year, First-Team All-State Division I, Rotary All-Star

Andrew Libby- Second Team All-State Division I, Rotary All-Star Classic

Matt Senesac- Rotary All-Star

Caden Fischer- Rotary All-Star

 

Indoor Track:

Evey Slavik- New England Qualifier- 1 Mile

Elizabeth Cunningham- New England Qualifier- 1 Mile, 1000m

Elliot Wood- New England Qualifier- 600m

 

Girls’ Basketball:

Kelli Cieplicki- Metro Division First Team, VBCA Dream Dozen

Elyse MacDonough- Metro Division Second Team, VBCA Dream Dozen

 

Girls’ Ice Hockey:

Samara Plunkett- First Team All-Lake Division, Rotary All-Star, Academic All-Star
