2026 VPA Winter Tournament Schedule

The Vermont Principals’ Association tournament season is underway, and Rice teams are set to compete across several winter sports as they begin their pursuit of state championships. Green Knight athletes will face top competition from around Vermont as postseason play unfolds in the coming days and weeks.

Below is the upcoming VPA tournament schedule for Rice teams. This post will be updated regularly with game times, locations, and opponents as the tournaments progress. Check back for the latest updates and follow along as the Knights compete in postseason play.

Boys' Basketball
TICKETS: Finals: Boys' Basketball vs. BFA St. Albans on Thursday 3/12/26 at 7:00 PM  at UVM's Patrick Gym

Boys' Ice Hockey
TICKETS: Finals: Boys' Ice Hockey vs. Burr & Burton on Sunday 3/15/26 at 1:00 PM  at UVM's Gutterson Fieldhouse. (Note the ticket gives you admission to the D1 Girls' game at 11am and the D1 Boys' Game at 1pm)


Tickets prices for the VPA tournament are set by the VPA. Rates are $10 for Adults, $5 for school aged children and senior citizens.
