• Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and concentration in Education at Saint Michael’s College
• Master of Science in School Counseling- UVM
• Started at Rice in 2007
• Volunteers with World of Difference and National Honor Society Tutoring

I enjoy being a counselor because:  I love supporting students to reach their full potential.

I choose to work at Rice because: The great community of students, faculty, and staff and the mission to educate the whole person.

What is your favorite thing about your job? Witnessing the students’ academic and personal growth and supporting them along the journey.

If you had an unexpected afternoon off, what would you do with your time? Take a long walk with my dog

Best vacation/trip you’ve ever been on: Backpacking through Europe as a college student and exploring National parks with my family

Favorite tradition, fieldtrip, or project in your department: Senior Day

Favorite Rice tradition or event: Poetry Out Loud and Christmas Concert

Favorite Rice Sports Team to watch: Alpine ski team (I may be a little biased as I have a student on the team :)

Favorite Professional Sports Team or Athlete: New York Yankees and Lewis Hamilton

If a prospective family asked you “why should I send my student to Rice,” what would you say? Strong academic expectations and preparation for college, teachers and staff know the students
