Pam heads up our Campus Ministry department. She graciously invests in our students, getting to know them and encouraging them with gentle wisdom. She plans community service projects like our annual Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive and also plans spiritual retreats for students. Her door is always open.

What is your favorite thing about your job? Talking and spending time with the students at retreats and/or special youth events.

If you had an unexpected afternoon off, what would you do with your time? Catch on home chores, finish delayed tasks and/or enjoy of a good family movie.

Best vacation/trip you’ve ever been on: I love going to the beach (any, preferably the pacific ocean)​​​​​​​

Favorite tradition/fieldtrip/project you do each school year: Advent & Lent Retreat! I always look forward to them. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Favorite Rice tradition or event: Thanksgiving baskets, it is nice to hear from the entire Rice community trying to make and give their best for families in need.​​​​​​​

Favorite Rice Sports Team to watch:  Cross Country ;)

If a prospective family asked you “why should I send my student to Rice”? What would you say? 
Why not? Rice is a catholic school that allows students to continue or explore their faith, offers academic excellence and fosters community service. Rice is a big family filled with love and traditions that are worth being part of.
