Brady Leisenring joins the prep staff with deep roots in Vermont hockey and a broad background in playing and coaching. A native of Stowe, Vermont, Leisenring went through the USA Hockey development program, competing in an IIHF U18 World Championship in 2000. Leisenring had a standout career at the University of Vermont, where he set the school record for most career points by a Vermont-born player during his time with the Catamounts. He went on to have a lengthy pro career in the AHL, ECHL, and European leagues prior to his transition into coaching.
He has served in coaching roles internationally with the Esbjerg Energy out of the top Danish professional league, Metal Ligaen and in North America with the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL, bringing that experience back to the prep level. Leisenring is also the Coaching Director with the Vermont Jr. Catamounts, a prominent youth development program focused on building high-level skills and competitive opportunities for players across age groups in the state.
Earlier in his career, Brady served as head hockey coach at his alma mater, Cardigan Mountain School, where he led the varsity program and mentored young athletes while reinforcing the school’s tradition of competitive prep hockey.
